Help Her Learn From the Game—and Know What to Do Next.

After a game, you want to support your daughter and help her learn from the experience. This guide gives you practical language and three questions to start that conversation while letting her take ownership of the answers.

After every game, begin with:

Let that statement stand on its own. When she is ready to reflect, ask:

REPEAT. RESPOND. ACT.

  1. Repeat: What worked today that you should repeat?
  2. Respond: What is one moment you would handle differently and what is your plan?
  3. Act: What is one specific action you will take within 24 hours?

Listen to her answers. Let her find the words and own her next action.

Inside the guide, you’ll also find practical ways to help her focus on the play at hand, understand maximum effort and best attitude, and reset when her attention becomes distracted.

Guide 2: Words of Power and Identity Statements

Give Her Words She Can Use When Pressure Rises.

When your daughter feels nervous, frustrated or unsure, she needs language that helps her choose what to do next. This guide teaches her to name what she feels, choose who she wants to be in that moment and connect that choice to an action.

WORDS OF POWER + IDENTITY STATEMENTS' by Sofia's Squad

“I feel nervous, and I am prepared, so I will attack the first play.”

She practices following those words with action, then recognizing what that action proved.

Inside the guide, you’ll find:

  1. Words of Power: Help her choose words for everyday situations, pressure and action, including “I get to” language that reminds her of the opportunity in front of her.
  2. Identity Statements: Build statements that feel believable to her and connect who she chooses to be with something she can do.
  3. A reset and practice plan: Use the 5-Second Hammer Reset and seven days of short exercises to make the tools familiar.
  4. Guidance for parents: Listen first, ask useful questions and give her room to choose her words and own her next action.
